With knowledge and experience we encourage you to make a difference. About the Opportunity An exciting opportunity has become available for a dedicated and experienced Production Scheduler to join our team in Lidcombe. Reporting to the Manufacturing Manager, you will be responsible for scheduling production of all the factories production plan. You will display an analytical and methodical approach to problem solving and a commitment to getting it right first time. Key accountabilities include:·       Develop accurate, high quality production schedules for the individual SKUs, by utilising best-practice processes and sound business knowledge. ·       Assist in the development and subsequently own the execution and control of planning activities and productivity initiatives; and ensure lean operating standards are created and implemented for all production areas on site. ·       Production activity control – releasing orders to production, revising and rescheduling orders, investigating scheduling delays, recommending corrective action and proactive notification of product availability issues to other areas of the business. ·       Milk Supply – conduct stock takes and liaise with the milk and dairy ingredients team to ensure the required dairy ingredients are ordered and supplied to meet planned production requirements and Depot capacity. ·       Support Supply Planning Manager in developing and publishing key planning metrics (KPI reporting) and consult with site Planners to optimise the production schedule to ensure uptime in maximised. ·       Provide timely and relevant data to the Shift Managers to support the development of improvement plans to drive improvement across the site. ·       Together with the Inventory Controller, manage inventory levels to achieve excellence in CSL, without compromising stock on hand targets. About You The successful candidate will have:Previous experience in a production scheduling supporting a food manufacturing operation.Understanding of Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP).A working knowledge of HACCP and OH&S is desirable but not essential.Experience in SAP desirableStrong communication and interpersonal skills.Excellent problem solving and troubleshooting abilities.Excellent attention to detailWe are seeking an individual who has a positive and proactive attitude and is able to foster positive working relationships. About the Opportunity
